Job summary

Fortis College in Montgomery AL is seeking an experienced Director of Admissions to lead the Admissions Department and drive enrollment, retention and student success. The role reports to the Campus President and requires strategic leadership, compliance with accreditation and federal regulations, and a hands-on approach to coaching the team.

You will manage interviewing, enrollment starts, and ongoing student engagement while collaborating with campus leadership and other departments to uphold

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, education, or related field with 3+ years in admissions or sales management.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism in all aspects.
• Experience leading and developing staff.
• Ability to meet deadlines and coach teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic software tools.
• Experience reporting to executive leadership and collaborating across departments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Admissions Department operations and budget.
• Lead interviewing, enrollment, onboarding and retention efforts.
• Collaborate with campus leaders and other departments to align student needs.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation and company policies.
• Conduct annual staff performance reviews and coaching.
