BASIS Independent Raleigh-Durham is seeking a Director of Admissions to begin January 2027. The role leads campus-level admissions, enrollment reporting to the VP of Admissions, and partnerships that support student growth.

You will oversee interviews, tours, and events, develop enrollment plans, and manage a team to ensure a premier family experience from inquiry through the first day of school. Strong storytelling and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Marketing or Communications preferred.
• 4+ years relevant sales experience.
• 2-3 years admissions experience at top secondary or post-secondary institutions, preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsabilités

• Conduct interviews with prospective families and evaluate needs, guiding decisions.
• Communicate the school’s philosophy and features to families; be an excellent storyteller.
• Develop understanding of the school’s history, mission, and materials to drive enrollment goals.
• Tailor communications to demonstrate how BASIS Independent Schools supports each family.
• Provide hospitality and guidance to families; mentor staff on hospitality standards.
• Lead annual enrollment plans with VP of Admissions and Head of School.
• Direct enrollment processes to ensure a high-quality experience from inquiry to day one.
• Coordinate campus tours with leadership to engage families effectively.
• Plan and execute high-quality admissions events and information sessions.
• Oversee admissions communications, newsletters, and campaigns in collaboration with Communications Manager.
• Cultivate partnerships with feeder schools and external organizations.
