Job summary

Success is seeking a Director of Admissions in Van Nuys, CA to lead a campus-based team and drive student recruitment and enrollment strategies. The role oversees all stages of the admissions process, mentors staff, and partners with the Corporate Director of Admissions to meet growth goals.

The ideal candidate has prior admissions management experience, strong sales and customer service skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Advise on program selection, testing, advising and registration.
• Coach and train Associates Director of Admissions/Admissions Representatives.
• Lead team meetings to motivate staff and discuss key issues.
• Ensure compliance with laws and Code of Conduct and Ethics.

He or she is responsible for the implementation of student recruitment strategies and the management of resources in order to meet performance expectations; Responsible for generating prospective students for enrollment; Responsible for all phases of the Associate Director of Admissions/Admissions process from marketing the program with students to qualifying them for enrollment; Resolves most complex enrollment questions and problems. This position reports to the Corporate Director of Admissions. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*** Provides excellent customer service to students through application and enrollment process.* Sets up potential student applicant appointments by phone. Assesses prospective students to ensure they have the potential, traits, characteristics, and financial wherewithal to be enrolled through graduation.* Conducts personal interviews to qualify candidates and to explain academic programs.* Handles appointments, interviews and applications in a professional and timely manner.* Advises students in program selection, test, advising, registration, etc.* Provides general customer service to students from enrollment through graduation.* Performs consistently to meet or exceed performance targets.* Assists in the development, direction and coordination of representative team activities in accomplishing its collective team goals and objectives.* Uses Class to complete and maintain all required documents and reports in an accurate and timely manner.* Provides input and recommendation to management on staffing.* In conjunction with the Corporate Director of Admissions, ensures that objectives, goals, policies, practices and actions produce desired student recruitment results, consistent with the overall mission and strategic plan for the Admissions Office.* Works with Corporate Director of Admissions in the development and execution of both short-term and long-term student recruitment strategy at the campus level to ensure the Company’s growth and profitability objectives and implements approved programs.* Responsible for coaching and training of Associates Director of Admissions/Admissions Representatives.* Responsible for day to day coaching for a team of representatives in order to train and develop them into top performing team members.* Conducts team meetings in order to motivate, encourage, and discuss key issues and concern with staff* Adheres to laws and regulations governing student recruitment activities as well as the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.* Performs all other duties as assigned.## Qualifications**QUALIFICATIONS*** Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales goals in a fast paced environment.* Ability to lead and manage a team.* Demonstrated skills in facilitating and modeling a strong customer service orientation.* Demonstrated Computer literacy skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, and Outlook* Demonstrated skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with students, staff, faculty, and the public.* Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills.* Demonstrated strong interpersonal and organizational skills.**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE*** High School diploma or equivalent required.* **Must have previous experience as an Admissions Representative.*** Previous Management experience required.
