Job summary

PACS (Providence Administrative Consulting Services, Inc.) is seeking an Accounts Payable Director to lead a diverse team of about 25 members, both in-person and remote, in a fast-paced setting. The role requires directing the AP function, ensuring accurate coding and timely vendor payments while partnering with facilities nationwide.

The successful candidate will guide staff, optimize processes, and manage initiatives that advance the department as the organization grows, with a strong emphasis

• Management experience, preferably in AP.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Vendor payment and management experience.
• Accounting or Finance education/experience.
• Quick learner, task-oriented, self-motivated and hardworking.
• Well-organized with the ability to prioritize, multi-task and complete responsibilities and projects on time.
• Strong analytical skills to investigate and resolve issues and inquiries.

• Develop accounts payable processes and documents to support the input and handling of financial data and reports
• Oversee and own various projects and initiatives as the company and department continue to grow

We are looking for a highly motivated Accounts Payable Director to supervise and oversee our Accounts Payable team. We are seeking a candidate with experience leading a diverse team who will excel in a fast-paced environment. Duties include team direction and supervision, problem resolution, coordination with skilled nursing facilities, and other applicable accounts payable duties. This position oversees ~25 people that are both in-person and remote. A successful candidate will be able to guide the department while working with vendors, including utility and service providers, to maintain order and efficiency in a large organization.
