PACS is seeking a highly motivated Accounts Payable Director to supervise and oversee our AP team. The role directs a diverse team of approximately 25 staff, distributed in-person and remote, requiring strong leadership and vendor coordination to keep payments accurate and timely.

You will partner with nursing facilities, manage process improvements, month-end close activities, and high-stakes reporting while guiding the department through growth and change in a large healthcare organization.

Formación

• Leadership and team supervision experience in accounts payable.
• Experience managing AP teams and vendor payments.
• Strong Excel skills and financial data analytical ability.
• Background in accounting/finance education or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and train AP Managers, Supervisors, and staff.
• Ensure excellent customer service to staff and facilities nationwide.
• Communicate effectively with service providers.
• Respond to facility and vendor inquiries.
• Assist with Month End Close preparation.
• Analyze expenditures for accurate coding per reporting rules.
• Develop AP processes and documentation for financial data.
• Lead projects as the department grows.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

We are looking for a highly motivated Accounts Payable Director to supervise and oversee our Accounts Payable team. We are seeking a candidate with experience leading a diverse team who will excel in a fast-paced environment. Duties include team direction and supervision, problem resolution, coordination with skilled nursing facilities, and other applicable accounts payable duties. This position oversees ~25 people that are both in-person and remote. A successful candidate will be able to guide the department while working with vendors, including utility and service providers, to maintain order and efficiency in a large organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and train Accounts Payable Managers, Supervisors, and team members
• Ensure excellent customer service is provided to the staff and nursing homes we serve nationwide
• Communicate effectively with service providers
• Respond to facility and vendor inquiries
• Assist with Month End Close preparation
• Analyze expenditures for accurate coding in accordance with cost reporting requirements
• Develop accounts payable processes and documents to support the input and handling of financial data and reports
• Oversee and own various projects and initiatives as the company and department continue to grow
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
• Management experience, preferably in AP
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills a must
• Vendor payment and management experience
• Accounting or Finance education/experience
• Quick learner, task-oriented, self-motivated and hardworking
• Well-organized with the ability to prioritize, multi-task and complete responsibilities and projects on time
• Strong analytical skills to investigate and resolve issues and inquiries
