Job summary

Apex Operations Management LLC is seeking a Director of Accounting to oversee accounting and financial reporting across multiple affiliated companies. The role is hands-on, highly organized, proactive, and accountable, leading the accounting team and ensuring strong internal controls.

Responsibilities include month-end close, cash-flow forecasting, intercompany accounting, and collaboration with CPAs, auditors, and lenders.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting and financial-management experience.
• Leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience with multi-entity accounting preferred.
• Experience with accounting and AP systems such as Gravity, QuickBooks Online, and Bill.com is a plus.

Director of Accounting

Apex Operations Management is seeking an experienced Director of Accounting to oversee the accounting and financial reporting functions for multiple affiliated companies.

This position is responsible for leading the accounting team, maintaining accurate financial records, managing cash flow and banking activity, overseeing month-end close, preparing financial statements, coordinating tax and audit deliverables, and ensuring strong internal controls across the organization.

We are looking for someone who is hands-on, highly organized, proactive, and accountable—someone who can not only produce accurate financial information but also lead the accounting function and keep management informed of issues before they become problems.

Key Responsibilities
