  • Reduce accounting-related client terminations and board escalations.
  • Own accounting diligence, data conversion, and reconciliation for newly acquired portfolios.
Financial Operations & Internal Controls
  • Own all accounting operations across corporate and association accounts, including general ledger, AR/AP, cash flow, and monthly close processes.
  • Establish, enforce, and continuously improve internal controls and segregation of duties protocols to safeguard company and client assets.
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close processes; ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to leadership and association boards.Maintain compliance with GAAP and association‑appropriate reporting bases (as required by governing documents and applicable standards), and with Nabo’s internal financial policies across all regions and service tiers.
  • Drive audit readiness and ensure the accounting function can withstand internal and external scrutiny at all times.
Association Accounting & Board Reporting
  • Oversee operating and reserve fund accounting for all managed associations.
  • Ensure monthly financial packages are delivered to boards accurately and on a defined schedule.
  • Support Community Managers in preparing association annual budgets.
  • Coordinate independent CPA audits and reviews, and association tax filings.
  • Ensure delinquent accounts are referred to collection attorneys according to each association’s collection policy.
CINC Systems Ownership
  • Serve as the lead for CINC Systems financial functionality.
  • Optimize AR/AP, budgeting, reconciliation, and reporting workflows across all service tiers: full‑service, financials‑only, and remote.
  • Own data integrity outcomes and system consistency across all CINC financial modules.
  • Drive automation and continuous process improvement within CINC in partnership with department heads and accounting staff.
Team Leadership, Performance Management & Organizational Development
  • Lead, evaluate, and hold accountable the full accounting team.
  • Own performance management for all direct and indirect accounting staff including: goal‑setting, structured reviews, corrective action, and termination decisions as warranted.
  • Build a high‑performance accounting culture grounded in ownership, accuracy, and measurable accountability.
  • Define and enforce clarity of roles, decision rights, workload standards, and quality benchmarks across each accounting seat.
  • Identify staffing gaps and own the process of recruiting, onboarding, and retaining accounting talent aligned with organizational growth.
  • Lead the accounting team through organizational change, systems upgrades, and structural realignment with the discipline of a change manager.
Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable
  • Oversee centralized AR/AP operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of collections and disbursements across all associations.
  • Monitor aging reports, enforce collections procedures, and minimize outstanding receivables.
  • Ensure vendor payments, check runs, and ACH/banking processes are executed accurately and on schedule.
  • Implement and maintain positive pay controls and vendor approval workflows.
Revenue Assurance & Billing Compliance
  • Audit management agreements to verify accurate billing of management fees and ancillary services across all association clients.

Financial Planning & EOS Execution
