Salary range is $160,000-$180,000 with a flexible hybrid schedule available. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of accounting experience, CPA preferred, and a strong background in GAAP, SOX, and SEC filings.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience desired.
• Strong background in SEC reporting, GAAP, SOX, and financial statement preparation.
• Public accounting experience highly desirable.

Aufgaben

• Lead and mentor the accounting team across GL, financial reporting, AP/AR, and related functions.
• Oversee SEC reporting including 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K filings.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and SEC requirements.
• Manage quarterly and year-end closes and coordinate with external auditors.
• Strengthen internal controls and accounting policies; support ERP enhancements and budgeting.

Are you a seasoned accounting leader with public company reporting experience? We're partnering with a well-established publicly traded organization seeking a Director of Accounting to lead financial reporting, SEC compliance, and accounting operations while managing a high-performing team. Salary range is $160,000-$180,000 with a flexible hybrid schedule available.

What You'll Do

• Lead and mentor the accounting team across general ledger, financial reporting, AP, AR, and related accounting functions.
• Oversee SEC reporting, including 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K filings.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and SEC reporting requirements.
• Manage quarterly and year-end close processes and coordinate with external auditors.
• Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and financial reporting processes.
• Support ERP enhancements, technical accounting research, budgeting, and strategic initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• Strong background in SEC reporting, GAAP, SOX, and financial statement preparation.
• Public accounting experience highly desirable.
• Proven leadership experience managing and developing accounting teams.
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience.
