Job summary

Hilton Anchorage is seeking a Director of Accounting to lead financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls for the property. You will partner with the General Manager and leadership team to ensure accurate statements and strong financial health.

This role focuses on strategic forecasting, risk management, and mentoring a skilled accounting staff. In-person work, full-time schedule, and comprehensive benefits are offered to help sustain the hotel's financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Financial Oversight: Manage all financial operations including accounts payable/receivable, income audits, cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the General Manager and executive team to develop and implement financial strategies that drive revenue growth and cost efficiency.
• Compliance and Reporting: Ensure adherence to financial reporting standards, tax regulations, and company policies; prepare timely financial statements and reports.
• Risk Management: Monitor cash flow, mitigate financial risks, and oversee internal audits to maintain financial integrity.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the accounting team and foster professional growth.
• Operational Collaboration: Work with department heads to optimize budgets and support operational decisions.
