Hilton is seeking a Director of Accounting to oversee the property's financial health, ensure accurate reporting, and guide strategic financial planning.

This leadership role manages accounts payable/receivable, cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance while leading the accounting team and collaborating with the General Manager.

In person at our Anchorage, AK location, you will work with department heads to optimize budgets and support operational decisions.

Competenze

• Experience directing finance operations for a hotel or similar property.
• Proven ability to lead accounting teams and mentor staff.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Oversight
  
  • Manage all financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, income audits, cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  
  


• Strategic Planning
  
  • Collaborate with the General Manager and executive team to develop and implement financial strategies that drive revenue growth and cost efficiency.
  
  


• Compliance and Reporting
  
  • Ensure adherence to financial reporting standards, tax regulations, and company policies. Prepare timely and accurate financial statements and reports.
  
  


• Risk Management
  
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, mitigate financial risks, and oversee internal audits to maintain financial integrity.
  
  


• Team Leadership
  
  • Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering professional growth and ensuring high performance.
  
  


• Operational Collaboration
  
  • Work closely with department heads to optimize budget allocations, improve financial performance, and support operational decisions.
