Job summary

Embry‑Riddle is seeking a Director of Academic Affairs Operations to lead operational functions for the Worldwide Academic Affairs Department. You will supervise Faculty Credentialing Managers and oversee credentialing, course clearances, and faculty records while driving process improvements and accreditation readiness.

You will coordinate with deans, chairs, HR, scheduling, payroll, technology, and other university stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely operations aligned with university

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Higher Education, Project Management, Organizational Leadership, or a related field.
• Three or more years in academic operations, project management, or supervising staff.
• Experience leading projects, coordinating priorities, and managing risks.
• Knowledge of faculty credentialing, academic records, accreditation, or related operations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement with senior leaders and cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and accountability for operational functions supporting the Worldwide Academic Affairs Department.
• Supervise three Faculty Credentialing Managers and oversee credentialing, course clearances, faculty records, and data systems.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and cross-functional coordination across the university.
• Improve workflows, processes, and reporting to meet accreditation requirements.
• Collaborate with deans, chairs, HR, scheduling, payroll, IT, and other stakeholders.
