Job summary

Jeremiah Program seeks a Family Services Director to lead campus-level programming and coach a small team of family coaches. You will collaborate with campus leadership, build strong community partnerships, and drive data-informed strategies to help families advance toward their goals.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed, culturally responsive leadership, and a hands-on approach to program growth, with some evening/weekend commitments and regular office presence on campus.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in human services or closely related field.
• 10+ years in social services/college support programs.
• 3+ years direct-line people management.
• Knowledge of local partners (housing, childcare, mental health, academics, financial management).
• Understanding of college journey and barriers to degree completion.
• Awareness of structural inequities affecting women/people of color.
• Strong learning orientation and openness to feedback.
• Solutions-focused with shared accountability.
• Data-driven strategy and outcomes focus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
• Availability some nights/weekends; in-person 4 days/week with one remote day.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high-impact 2-generation coaching for families.
• Lead a 3–4 person Family Coaches team and monitor goal attainment.
• Develop partnerships with community providers for wrap-around supports.
• Plan and execute group learning events and workshops.
• Oversee campus recruitment, enrollment, and program entry.
• Grow and sustain a high-performing Family Services team.
• Collaborate with the Executive Director to align program, operations and development.
• Coordinate with CST/national leaders to inform JP strategy.
• Model JP core values and data-informed leadership.
