United Way in Houston is seeking a Director to lead the Nonprofit Connection (NPC) team, strengthening the local nonprofit ecosystem and building capacity to pursue public grants.

The role focuses on developing nonprofit talent, increasing growth and resiliency, and coordinating resources, networks, and collaboration for collective impact.

The Director will manage grant processes, coordinate education offerings, and engage diverse partners to advance the mission.

Responsibilities

• Oversee grant funding tools and coordinate public and cohort-based webinars and workshops.
• Develop and manage a grant application, selection and monitoring process.
• Plan quarterly Grant Advisory Committee meetings and share evaluation results.
• Coordinate NPC workshops, secure spaces, and recruit pro-bono speakers.
• Build relationships with diverse partners and foster cross-functional collaboration.
