Job summary

Vibracoustic USA Inc. in the United States is seeking a Director of Non-Production Material to lead the Americas NPM Buyers and drive regional sourcing for indirect categories including IT, MRO, logistics, and services.

You will collaborate with plants, category managers, and global teams to achieve cost savings, standardize processes, and advance digitalization across NPM functions while improving ERP and supplier data for analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive purchasing/procurement experience, including regional/global leadership.
• Experience in indirect (NPM) purchasing categories such as capital equipment, MRO, logistics, IT, and services.
• Proven track record leading sourcing initiatives, driving cost savings, and improving supplier performance.
• Leadership experience in a matrixed regional environment.
• Deep understanding of procurement processes, compliance, and contract management in a global organization.
• Experience driving process improvements, standardization, and digitalization within procurement.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and data analytics to improve supplier/purchasing data quality.
• Excellent stakeholder management across plants, functions, and global teams.
• Strong communication and training skills to drive adoption of procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Interface between VC plants, buyers & category managers to foster collaboration & achievement of goals within NPM.
• Continuous improvement of NPM processes within the Americas region and alignment with other regions.
• Drive digitalization within NPM Purchasing.
• Create, improve & train the understanding of increasing internal and external requirements to NPM processes.
• Maintain NPM standing/vision within the Americas Organization.
• Drive & foster the exchange between local/global NPM Functions & other stakeholders within VC.
• Improve ERP data & supplier data for analysis.

• 10+ years of progressive purchasing/procurement experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry, including leadership of regional or global teams.
• Strong experience in indirect (NPM) purchasing categories such as capital equipment, MRO, logistics, IT, and services.
• Proven track record of leading sourcing initiatives, driving cost savings, and improving supplier performance across multiple sites.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing teams in a matrixed, regional environment.
• Deep understanding of procurement processes, compliance requirements, and contract management within a global organization.
• Experience driving process improvements, standardization, and digitalization initiatives within procurement functions.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Workday) and strong data analytics capabilities to improve supplier and purchasing data quality.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across plants, functions, and global teams.
• Strong communication and training skills to drive adoption of procurement processes and ensure alignment with internal and external requirements.
