Job summary

Vibracoustic USA Inc. in Morganfield, KY, is seeking a Plant Controller for an on-site role.

You will drive cost rates, variances, and month-end close while partnering with the Plant Manager and regional teams to ensure accurate reporting and effective cost management. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Administration/Economics/Industrial Engineering and 3–5+ years in cost accounting/controlling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Administration/Economics/Industrial Engineering.
• 3–5+ years of cost accounting/controlling experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with forecasting and financial reporting/analysis.
• Experience in manufacturing/cost accounting.
• ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, AS400) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine and maintain cost rates.
• Prepare and analyze variances to standard costs.
• Analyze plant efficiency.
• Support BU Controllers on standard rates for quotations and profitability by customer/part.
• Drive savings initiatives and KPI tracking.
• Execute month-end close activities, reporting and analysis.
• Prepare three-month forecast and variance vs prior forecast.
• Coordinate and support Annual Operating Plan activities.
• Coordinate capital expenditure process and Investment Analysis for each project.
• Partner with Plant Manager, peers, and regional/global corporate.

You support our team as

Plant Controller

Responsibilities

• Responsible for cost rates determination and maintenance.
• Prepare and analyze reports of variances to standard costs.
• Plant’s efficiency analysis.
• Support BU Controllers on standard rates for quotation process (FACTON) as well as profitability by customer/part number.
• Drive and validate stay ahead savings and support the plant’s KPI’s.
• Execute month end close activities, reporting and analysis.
• Prepare the three-month forecast and variance analysis vs prior forecast.
• Coordinate and support the Annual Operating Plan activities.
• Coordinate the plant’s capital expenditure process and prepare the corresponding Investment Economic Analysis for each project.
• Act as a business partner to the Plant Manager, peers and regional/global corporate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/ Administration/ Economics/ Industrial Engineering.
• 3 to 5+ years of Cost Accounting/Controlling experience.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel.
• Previous experience working with ERP’s (e.g. SAP, Oracle, AS400).
• Experience in forecasting and financial reporting/analysis.
• Experience in manufacturing/cost accounting
