Cardinal Health, headquartered in Dublin, Ohio, seeks a Director of New Solutions Development to lead strategic and operational efforts from ideation to go-to-market readiness. You will drive lifecycle governance, portfolio optimization, and ROI across health systems, retail pharmacies, and other classes of trade.

You will partner with IT, marketing, sales, finance and operations to ensure market-responsive solutions, strong governance, and successful execution with a high-performance team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in product development, product management, product marketing or related field.
• Experience developing customer-facing solutions for health systems and retail pharmacies.
• Experience managing solutions portfolios, governance, and optimization.
• Strong business case development, financial modeling, and performance tracking.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic direction for New Solutions Development and communicate effectively across teams.
• Lead initiatives from ideation through launch, aligning with enterprise strategy and market demand.
• Govern stage-gate process and lifecycle management across the portfolio.
• Develop and manage a pipeline of new solution ideas and Lifecycle opportunities.
• Analyze market trends and VOC to identify opportunities to expand the portfolio.
• Define technical requirements with IT and internal SMEs to meet market needs.
• Partner with marketing and sales for go-to-market strategy and adoption.
• Drive business cases, revenue growth, cost savings, and performance tracking.
• Monitor program performance and opportunities to enhance value or rationalize portfolio.
• Lead transitions of new solutions to operational owners as initiatives mature.
• Foster high-performance culture and leadership development.
