Cardinal Health is seeking a Director, New Solutions Development to provide strategic and operational leadership for the development, execution, and lifecycle management of customer-facing solutions supporting health systems, retail pharmacies and other pharmacy classes of trade.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in product development or management.
• Experience developing customer-facing solutions for health systems and pharmacies.
• Experience managing solution portfolios with governance and optimization.
• Strong leadership in matrixed environments and cross-functional teams.
• Experience with business case development and ROI analysis.
• Background in software/product development methodologies or project management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Set the strategic direction for the New Solutions Development function.
• Lead new solutions initiatives from ideation through launch.
• Evolve the stage-gate process and lifecycle management framework.
• Develop and manage a pipeline of new solution ideas and ROI.
• Partner with IT, marketing, and sales for go-to-market readiness.
• Drive financial commitments and measure performance of new solutions.
• Ensure smooth transition of new solutions to operational owners.
• Foster high-performance culture and talent development.
