Job summary

Assembly is seeking a Director, New Business to drive growth for our global media agency. You will manage the end-to-end RFP process, orchestrate the agency pitch pipeline, and position our services to prospective clients.

You will work across strategy, data and creative teams to craft compelling narratives that win new business. You will sit at the crossroads of craft and data, leading a mid-level leadership team and collaborating with media planners, digital buyers, and analysts to win

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of experience in advertising or media agency with at least 2 years in business development or account management.
• Solid understanding of modern media channels including paid search, social, programmatic, and traditional linear.
• Exceptional organizational skills with a proven track record of handling high-pressure deadlines and multiple projects.
• Masterful written and verbal communication, turning complex media data into persuasive pitch decks.
• High proficiency in Keynote/PowerPoint and CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot).

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the agency's active pitch pipeline, ensuring milestones and meetings run smoothly.
• Own writing, formatting and submission of RFI and RFP documents from inputs from internal departments.
• Collaborate with media planners, digital buyers, data analysts and senior management on multi-channel pitch strategies.
• Research emerging brands, track spending shifts and identify prospective clients aligned with growth goals.
• Create and update marketing materials, credential decks, case studies and tool overviews.
• Maintain data cleanliness in the CRM and track win/loss metrics and pitch costs.
