Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a compliance/national security professional for a leadership role in our Disputes and Investigations practice in the United States. You will identify, assess, and mitigate national-security risks, embedding regulatory requirements into client processes and delivering expert work products.

You will interface with clients and regulators, drive engagements, and contribute to thought leadership while advancing internal initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; advanced degree strongly preferred.
• Experience as a compliance or national security professional and program leader.
• Demonstrated expertise in international trade compliance; strong writing能力.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects involving U.S. international trade and technology security controls and related compliance.
• Assess client trade/technology controls and regulatory posture (ITAR, EAR, other regimes).
• Audit and enhance international trade, technology security, and foreign investment controls programs.
• Develop engagement approaches with leadership and teams; create project plans.
• Interface with clients to deliver high-quality compliance work including programs and reports.
• Build SME expertise in national security and non-U.S. regimes; stay updated on regulations.
• Design and implement risk mitigation and information security solutions.
• Help clients navigate government security, export controls, and data security.
• Contribute to collateral and market-facing materials; support internal initiatives.
• Collaborate across teams to drive results.
