Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a compliance and national security professional to lead projects related to international trade controls, technology security, and regulatory compliance across diverse client engagements.

The role emphasizes independent client interaction, development of robust compliance programs, and impactful thought leadership within a high-performance environment. Strong research and writing skills are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required; Advanced Degree strongly preferred.
Demonstrated expertise in international trade compliance.
Excellent research and writing capabilities required; ability to produce polished work.
Proficient in office productivity tools (MS Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint).

Responsibilities

Lead projects involving U.S. international trade and technology security controls.
Assess clients’ trade and technology controls compliance posture.
Audit and enhance clients’ international trade and foreign investment controls risk.
Interface with clients and deliver high-quality compliance programs and reports.
Develop collateral and thought leadership for market-facing initiatives.
