Job description

We are looking for a Director of MSP Program Delivery to lead the delivery of a client's Managed Service Provider (MSP) program covering contingent labor and other outsourced talent services. You will be the senior owner of the program day to day: keeping delivery running smoothly, resolving issues quickly, and acting as a trusted advisor who helps the client mature and improve its wider workforce program.

This is a hands‑on leadership role. You will balance operational excellence with strategic counsel, and you will be equally comfortable resolving an escalation with a supplier as presenting a program roadmap to client executives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program leadership: Own end‑to‑end delivery of the MSP program, ensuring SLAs, KPIs and contractual commitments are met or exceeded.
  • Issue resolution: Act as the escalation point for daily operational issues across requisitions, onboarding, invoicing, compliance and supplier performance, driving fast and lasting resolution.
  • Client advisory: Advise the client on how to improve its contingent workforce program, including program design, supplier strategy, spend, process efficiency, talent quality and risk.
  • Stakeholder management: Build strong relationships with client leadership, hiring managers, procurement, HR and legal, and lead regular business reviews and governance meetings.
  • Supplier management: Manage and develop a supplier network of staffing and outsourced talent providers, including performance management, tiering and rate and compliance oversight.
  • Commercial management: Manage the programs commercial obligations including service levels, pricing, contract changes, invoicing and supplier payment processes.
  • Reporting and analytics: Deliver accurate program reporting and insight, using data to identify trends, savings and improvement opportunities.
  • People leadership: Lead, coach and develop the program delivery team, setting clear goals and building a culture of accountability and client focus.
  • Governance and compliance: Ensure the program meets worker classification, compliance, data and regulatory requirements, and manage change and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Program growth: Identify opportunities to improve delivery, expand program scope and protect account profitability
What You’ll Bring
  • Significant experience leading MSP and contingent workforce programs within staffing or outsourced talent solutions, ideally at director level or equivalent.
  • Proven track record of running complex, multi‑site or multi‑country programs for enterprise clients and delivering against SLAs and KPIs.
  • Strong consulting and advisory skills, with the credibility to challenge, influence and guide senior client stakeholders.
  • Deep knowledge of contingent labour models, vendor management systems (VMS), supplier management and workforce compliance.
  • Sound commercial and financial acumen, including spend analysis, rate management and contract governance.
  • Experience leading and developing high‑performing teams, with the resilience to manage pressure and competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and problem‑solving skills.
  • Experience with major VMS platforms and workforce analytics tools.
  • Exposure to statement of work (SOW) and services procurement, or other outsourced talent services such as RPO.
  • Relevant certification, such as CWS or CCWP, or similar program management qualifications.
