Job summary

New Hampshire Housing seeks a Director, Loan Servicing for the Homeownership Division to provide strategic leadership for loan servicing operations, oversee compliance and risk management, and support homeowners in achieving long-term stability. You will lead servicing policies, manage a third-party subservicer, analyze portfolio performance, and present findings to senior leadership.

A strong customer focus and 5+ years in residential mortgage servicing are essential, with hybrid work options

Qualifications

• Strong customer-focused mindset to help borrowers navigate options and outcomes.
• Demonstrated analytical skills to evaluate large loan portfolios and interpret complex data.
• Leadership experience within residential mortgage servicing; commercial loan servicing is a plus.
• Knowledge of loan servicing practices, regulatory requirements, delinquency management, and foreclosure prevention.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field and at least five years' relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Lead loan servicing operations, develop servicing policies and procedures, monitor subservicer performance and delinquency management.
• Manage third-party subservicer relationship, ensure regulatory and contractual compliance, monitor performance and reporting.
• Analyze portfolio performance, delinquency trends, loss mitigation outcomes, foreclosure activity, and financial results to identify risks and opportunities.
• Prepare and present operational, financial, and portfolio reports to senior leadership with insights and recommendations.
• Build and coach a high-performing team with accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
