Dark Matter Technologies seeks a Director, Product & Regulatory Compliance Counsel to own the regulatory program for mortgage technology. Translate complex federal and state requirements into actionable product specs and guide product teams through compliance challenges in production.

In this high-visibility role you will partner with Risk, Information Security and Legal to manage policies, audits, and client inquiries, deliver training, and keep leadership informed of emerging regulatory

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited US law school and active bar admission.
• At least 5 years of mortgage compliance experience, preferably with lender or mortgage tech exposure.
• Deep knowledge of federal mortgage regulations and state requirements.
• Experience running or supporting a compliance program including audits and inquiries.
• Experience translating regulatory requirements into product specifications.

Responsabilités

• Regulatory change monitoring and translating to product requirements.
• Own and manage compliance program and policies.
• Coordinate responses to client audits and regulator inquiries.
• Support SOC audits and third‑party risk reviews.
• Track findings and report risks to leadership.
• Deliver compliance training to employees.
