Job summary

C&W Services (S) seeks a Director of Critical Environments - Engineering to lead the engineering and operations for mission-critical data center environments. You will drive technical strategy, oversee engineering teams, and partner with senior management to sustain uptime and reliability.

The role requires deep knowledge of data center infrastructure, risk mitigation, and compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Provide engineering leadership in data center environments.
• Strong knowledge of critical infrastructure standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support and oversight in Data Center environments to ensure uptime and redundancy.
• Lead power distribution, cooling, fire suppression and building automation for optimum performance.
• Collaborate with operations, site stakeholders and clients to align engineering with business continuity and incident response.
• Support capacity planning and infrastructure scalability with IT, facilities and project management.
• Ensure compliance with Uptime Institute, ASHRAE, NFPA and OSHA and aid audit readiness.
• Develop, implement and monitor technical programs and procedures for National Operations and Engineering.
• Coordinate with clients and facility management on safety, quality, sustainability and energy tracking.
• Conduct periodic site inspections to review client sites and technician performance.
• Perform physical property, mechanical and electrical assessments as needed.
• Provide leadership for client and corporate initiatives; advise on HVAC, MEP, Fire/Life Safety, Automation and Security.
• Assist in scope definition, contract negotiations and bid reviews for service and capital projects.
