Job summary

Augusta University seeks a dynamic Director for Military & Veteran Services to lead the Office of Military & Veteran Services (MVS) and the Military Resource Center on the Summerville campus. The role includes overseeing services, recruitment, staffing, and program development for military-connected students and families, and coordinating with Ft.

Candidate must demonstrate leadership of a university-level office or large program.
Experience in budgeting and expenditures management.
Ability to coordinate across multiple campus departments and stakeholders.
Strong written and verbal communications with diverse audiences.
Proven ability to recruit, train, and supervise staff.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership for the Office of Military & Veteran Services (MVS).
Develop departmental mission, goals, programs, and budgets for MVS.
Identify efficiency improvements and implement process changes.
Supervise staff and VA Work Study students; ensure excellent customer service.
Manage the MVS and the Military Resource Center at Summerville campus and Fort Eisenhower.
Collaborate with campus offices to submit data for IPEDS and related reports.
Advise university leadership on military and veteran student concerns and policy issues.
