Job summary

Augusta University is seeking a Director of Campus Activities to lead the Jaguar Student Activities Center and campus-wide programming. You will oversee operations, staff, budget planning, and student engagement initiatives to create a welcoming and active campus life experience at the Summerville campus.

The role requires a masters degree with five years in higher education, strong leadership, and the ability to collaborate with campus partners to drive traditions and signature programs.

Qualifications

• Masters degree from an accredited college or university and five years of work experience in higher education.
• Experience overseeing student center operations, event support services, facility management, or large-scale campus facilities.
• Proven leadership and supervisory experience with professional staff.
• Ability to develop programming and student engagement strategies.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the Campus Activities unit, including JSAC and Jaguar Production Crew.
• Oversee budget planning, financial management, HR, evaluations, and admin processes.
• Supervise the Assistant Director and student staff; recruit, train, and evaluate them.
• Oversee daily operations of the Jaguar Student Activities Center and ensure safety and functionality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
