Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a Director of Product Management and Design to lead the Manufacturing Execution System and Production Planning initiatives within Enterprise Technology. You will guide a multidisciplinary team, aligning MES strategy with manufacturing needs on the factory floor where rockets, engines, and satellites are built.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE/EE or related field.
• 10+ years of product and software experience, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.
• Demonstrated experience in the manufacturing or production planning domains.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional programs, balance priorities, and deliver on schedule and budget.
• Excellent communication skills with executive stakeholders.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Define strategy, roadmap, and priorities for MES and Production Planning systems.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team of product and UX design.
• Champion a culture of customer focus, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Obsess over results and impact, not just software delivery.
• Live on the factory floor periodically to solve problems with the team.
• Apply and sharpen AI skills to deliver immediate results and improve judgment.
• Partner with peer directors and VPs across software, manufacturing, and supply chain.
