Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Director to lead a strategic team within the Engines, In-Space Systems, and Test Operations group. You will drive business operations across multiple sites, align operations with strategic goals, and manage large-scale programs.

The role offers cross-disciplinary collaboration across strategy, data analytics, and project management, with relocation support and a focus on operational efficiency and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business management, operations, or related field is required.
• Experience leading large, enterprise-wide programs with measurable impact on efficiency and strategic goals.
• Strong ability to brief senior executives on short notice with excellent presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a strategic team of project managers, in-house consultants, and analysts.
• Manage rhythm of business reviews for Engines, In-Space Systems, and Test Operations.
• Oversee capacity expansion across three sites and three states with budget and schedule accountability.
• Bridge strategy, technology, manufacturing, finance, and operations to optimize performance.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans across complex programs.
• Develop contingency plans and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with New Glenn Operations leadership and external teams to meet objectives.
• Communicate progress through regular updates and reviews.
