Job summary

First Citizens Bank is seeking a Director of Merchant Service, Product and Portfolio Strategy to lead strategy, growth initiatives, and client experience for our Merchant Services business. You will align with the General Bank and support enterprise-wide client needs across consumer and commercial banking.

The role requires building strategic partnerships, directing product commercialization, and guiding go-to-market initiatives that strengthen competitive position and drive revenue growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 10+ years of experience in strategy leadership within Financial Services.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience can meet the requirements.
• Preferred certifications include CPP and CTP.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes merchant services growth strategies and partnerships.
• Leads product strategy, commercialization, and client experience initiatives across the portfolio.
• Guides cross-functional execution with Sales, Operations, Risk, Finance, Technology, and external partners.
• Establishes department objectives and supports talent development and succession planning.
