Job summary

Inspire seeks a Director of Category Management to lead Arby's menu strategy and innovation roadmap, driving bold thinking and results. You will guide beverages and food categories, partnering with culinary teams to align with category briefs and consumer experience.

The role partners with internal and external groups, including franchisees, to solve complex projects and influence senior management with data-driven recommendations supporting Inspire's objectives.

Qualifications

• 4 Year Degree in Business Related Field
• 10+ Years in Category Management - Restaurant Experience mandatory
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with executives and stakeholders
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills; comfortable with P&L workings
• Ability to lead a team as a people-manager in a fast-paced environment
• Understands how to take products through a commercialization process
• Data-driven thinking to diagnose problems and drive solutions
• Self-starter with bias for action and ownership of projects
• Passion for the restaurant industry and leading initiatives
• Willingness to train in stores and engage operators regularly
• Travel required - 10% with supplier/market visits and conferences
• 5 Direct Reports

Responsibilities

• Lead team recommendation of short and long-term food menu strategy and tactics to meet objectives and drive growth.
• Define the roadmap for core & white space innovation and test items in innovation stores.
• Monitor item and category performance to deliver actionable insights for sales and profit growth.
• Lead and develop a team with 5 direct reports, provide guidance in 1:1s, and review career goals.
• Serve as a leader in change management, improving processes and team efficiency.
• Manage research budget and maximize learnings and insights to inform decisions.
