Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Director of Member Engagement to lead and elevate our nationwide member program in a fully remote capacity. You will design data-driven engagement strategies, deepen relationships with member companies, and connect members with industry insights and opportunities.

You will partner with sales, policy, programs, events, marketing, and communications, mentor the engagement team, oversee vendors, and use feedback to continuously improve retention and participation.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in membership-related roles within nonprofits or trade associations.
• Ability to develop and implement member strategies to boost satisfaction and retention.
• Experience planning and executing virtual and in-person events.
• Proven leadership and staff development skills.
• Data-driven decision making using surveys and engagement metrics.
• Strong relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Interest in clean energy and transportation policy.
• Entrepreneurial, proactive mindset with problem-solving ability.
• Willingness to travel up to 33% within the United States.
• Residence in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead the member engagement strategy and drive participation, retention, and value.
• Build and nurture member relationships with member companies.
• Deliver an exceptional member experience and connect members with insights and opportunities.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives with sales, policy, programs, events, marketing, and communications.
• Manage member feedback and retention via annual surveys and data analysis.
• Lead event strategy and execution for virtual and in-person events.
• Strengthen member value through engagement activities and industry initiatives.
• Manage and develop the engagement team.
• Oversee external partnerships and vendors.
• Drive continuous improvement using member insights.
• Travel as required up to 33%.
• Location eligibility: Must reside in the United States.
