Job summary

UCI Health in Irvine, CA seeks a Director, Medical Staff to lead medical staff operations, credentialing, privileging and governance. You will ensure compliance with regulatory standards and oversee policy development and performance initiatives.

The role partners with senior medical leaders, legal and compliance teams to manage risk and drive continuous improvement across facilities in Orange County and beyond.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in credentialing medical staff.
• 1 year in a management leadership role.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Knowledge of Joint Commission, NCQA and Title 22 regulations.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership and administrative oversight of medical staff functions.
• Oversee credentialing, privileging, peer review and governance support.
• Collaborate with CMO, legal, compliance and leadership on risk management.
• Develop policies, drive quality assurance and performance improvement.
