Job summary

The State of Georgia seeks a Director, Office of Medicaid Coordination for the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities in Atlanta. This role leads Medicaid policy, financing, and operational infrastructure for IDD and behavioral health programs, including waivers, state plan amendments, and interagency coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in operations management, business administration, or a related field.
• Five (5) years in a managerial or supervisory role (or nine years related experience with five years in management).
• Equivalent combination of knowledge, education, job or intern experience may be substituted.

Responsibilities

• Lead Medicaid policy and financing strategy for IDD and behavioral health services.
• Oversee Medicaid waivers, State Plan amendments, and rate studies.
• Direct Medicaid cost allocation, APDs, provider manual alignment, and federal reporting.
