Gadsden Regional Medical Center is seeking a Director of Med/Surg to lead the medical-surgical department, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care and operational excellence. The role provides strategic direction, oversees operations, and aligns with regulatory standards and organizational goals to foster collaboration and staff development.

The director will manage budgets, staffing, and performance metrics while supporting continuous improvement and patient satisfaction across the department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required or seven+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Master's degree preferred for advanced leadership and strategy responsibilities.
• 7+ years of direct leadership experience in healthcare leadership roles.
• 3-5 years of leadership experience with Bachelor's degree required.

Responsabilités

• Lead medical-surgical operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to align care.
• Oversee budgets, staffing, and resource allocation for cost effectiveness.
• Monitor KPIs and quality metrics; drive improvement initiatives.
• Communicate with clinicians, administration, and external stakeholders.
• Investigate care concerns and implement corrective actions as needed.
