Job summary

Roskam Foods, a Grand Rapids-based contract manufacturer, seeks a Director of Master Data Governance to lead data strategy across item, vendor, and financial domains. You will drive data quality programs, oversee cleansing for D365 F&O readiness, and partner with Finance, IT, and Operations to embed governance into ERP workflows.

Demonstrated leadership of data governance in manufacturing environments, strong project-management abilities, and a track record of delivering measurable improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Data Management, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in data governance, master data management, ERP data migration, or enterprise data stewardship.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence senior stakeholders, and drive accountability.
• Excellent analytical, communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Familiarity with ERP implementations, data migration strategies, and post-go-live data governance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive master data governance framework aligned with ERP transformation priorities.
• Lead master data cleansing efforts in preparation for D365 F&O ERP implementation.
• Define data standards, validation rules, and change-control workflows across item, vendor, customer, financial, and recipe/formula data.
• Establish internal controls to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and auditability.
• Define KPIs for data quality and deliver regular reports to executive leadership.
• Manage a team of three data clerks responsible for data maintenance and updates.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to embed governance into processes.
• Support acquisition integration by applying Roskam’s data standards to key domains.
• Serve as primary liaison between business units and IT for governance, cleansing, and data migration.
