Job summary

Charles Schwab is seeking a Director of Marketing AI COE & Process to lead the strategy and execution of AI-driven marketing capabilities in Austin. The role focuses on building a GenAI-centered COE, governing AI use, and driving scalable marketing processes with measurable impact.

You will partner across Marketing, Technology, Operations, and Risk to deliver speed, quality, and improved marketer experience, while mentoring a high-performing team in a matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in marketing technology, marketing operations, or process/program leadership with measurable outcomes.
• Experience putting AI/GenAI into production use with high-value use cases.
• Ability to build AI fluency across a broad audience through enablement and training.
• Hands-on experience in marketing execution including campaign development and delivery.
• Proven ownership of end-to-end marketing processes and governance.
• Strong leadership, hiring, coaching, and development experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy and roadmap for Marketing AI, incl. GenAI COE for Marketing.
• Build and manage AI use case pipeline with prioritization, value sizing, and measurement.
• Drive AI fluency and adoption at scale via enablement, office hours, and community-building.
• Serve as trusted advisor, translating complexity into clear decisions and direction.
• Establish and mature Marketing process governance with standards and controls.
• Lead process transformation across Marketing, Technology, Operations, and Risk.
• Align data, process, and platforms to marketing needs and measure performance.
