We’re looking for a Director of Marketing to lead a team of marketing professionals across product marketing, sales enablement, events, public relations, creative design, and data-driven storytelling . Reporting to the Vice President of Growth Strategy and Marketing, this role will be responsible for managing and executing key marketing initiatives that drive business growth and reinforce Ampersand’s leadership in data-driven TV advertising .

HOW YOU’LL BE CONTRIBUTING:

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of marketing specialists across product marketing, events, PR, creative design, and sales enablement.
  • Provide strategic guidance to ensure cohesive and high-impact marketing execution.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
  • Lead strategic modernization of marketing through AI .
  • Develop compelling narratives and marketing strategies that showcase Ampersand’s product capabilities and differentiators.
  • Align product marketing efforts with sales enablement initiatives to equip sales teams with effective tools and messaging.
  • Ensure marketing strategies support revenue growth and customer engagement.
  • Data-Driven Narrative & Thought Leadership
    • Shape Ampersand’s market positioning through insightful data-driven storytelling and thought leadership initiatives.
    • Work with research and analytics teams to translate data into compelling content that elevates Ampersand’s industry presence.
    • Oversee PR strategies, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external agencies to maximize impact.
  • Creative Development & Branding
    • Oversee the creation of brand assets, ensuring consistency and innovation in marketing materials.
    • Provide strategic direction on branding, messaging, and creative execution.
    • Lead strategy development, creativity , and ROI of paid, earned, and owned media.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Partner with product, sales, research, and executive leadership to ensure alignment between marketing efforts and business priorities.
    • Work closely with the VP of Growth Strategy and Marketing to shape long-term brand and strategic initiatives.
    • Partner with owners and lead cross-company initiatives.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • 8+ years of experience in marketing leadership, with expertise in managing teams across events, PR, creative design, and sales marketing—preferably within the TV and digital media industry.
  • Strong ability to lead and mentor a diverse marketing team, ensuring alignment and successful execution of initiatives.
  • Experience driving effective brand, communications, and event strategies.
  • Excellent ability to collaborate cross-functionally and execute strategies that support business objectives .
  • Proven track record of managing marketing operations in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Salary Range Disclaimer

The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Ampersand salary range for this position in New York. Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including, but not limited to, experience and performance

The range listed is just one component of Ampersand’s total rewards package for employees. Other rewards may include discretionary annual bonuses and / or overtime, commission, etc., as well as competitive benefits including PTO, medical & dental & vision benefits, 401K with employer match, short & long-term disability, basic life insurance, tuition reimbursement, pre-tax commuter benefits & flexible spending accounts.

Salary Range Transparency

This role has a base salary of $120,000 - $200,000 and a discretionary annual bonus .
