What You Will Do
- Ensure the performance of all internal and external physical flows and define/implement the factory inventory policies and best practices. Lead the flows team of managers, supervisors, forklift operators, and receiving clerks, creating 100% employee active engagement.
- Support an interdependent safety culture, participate in Safety Steering Committee, perform Safety Audits, Safety Coaching, and manage departmental improvement opportunities.
- Implement L’Oréal quality assurance, GMP, Safety, and Environmental procedures, and participate in the Flows Steering Committee to review policies and improvement opportunities.
- Maintain effective employee relations, support site recognition activities, and develop objectives to achieve plant inventory control goals.
- Design and manage flows throughout the site, including receipt and shipment of products, inventory management, and physical installations like lifts, racks, and docks. Support CapEx/OpEx projects.
- Define and implement factory best practices in physical flows, training, inventory control, safety, and quality.
- Develop long-term production plans in collaboration with Logistics to maximize resource utilization.
- Set departmental KPIs, communicate regularly, benchmark, and drive results.
- Support inventory health processes such as destructions, ADI management, and rejection management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a major technical discipline or business; engineering degree preferred; Master’s in Business Administration desirable.
- Minimum five (5) years of progressive experience in logistics, production, or supply chain management in manufacturing.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong people management skills and ability to develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, achievement orientation, talent cultivation, and communication skills.
