AMTS is currently seeking a qualified Program Manager to join our team on a long-term, fulfilling career opportunity in a manufacturing environment working remotely, with regular site visits to our facility in San Antonio, TX. Preferred candidate resides in San Antonio, TX (but not required).

AMTS-D&D JV provides manufacturing solutions, specializing in design, machining, fabrication, and assembly of aerospace ground support equipment for the commercial and defense industry. Our team brings nearly 40 years of experience serving the aerospace industry. The AMTS-D&D JV was formed to deliver diverse and comprehensive manufacturing solutions to support the needs of the warfighter. Our subject matter experts bring to bear problem-solving techniques you would expect from a large business, only we do it with small business agility. Role Description

The Program Manager will manage the joint-venture DoD manufacturing programs that AMTS is responsible for. The duties for this position include, but are not limited to:

1. Establishing, monitoring, and achieving successful programs within the joint venture manufacturing environment.
2. Collaborating with Operations Management, engineering, and manufacturing teams to create and manage customer timelines.
3. Establishing, monitoring, and achieving strategic, operational, and financial objectives of specific customer programs and managing individual projects within the portfolio.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• US Citizen
• Ability/eligibility to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance
• 5+ years’ experience in:

• Program management with DoD manufacturing experience
• Creating and managing timelines
• Working with operations, engineers, and labor to achieve desired products
• Customer interfacing and stakeholder management
• Developing IMPs and IMSs for government systems/equipment/platforms
• Executing CDRLs and DIDs, WBS, Risk Analysis, ILS, Logistics Data
• Leading reviews and meetings such as system requirement reviews, test readiness reviews, and technical interchange meetings
• Managing scope, schedule, budget, change, and configuration control
• Proficiency in MS Office and Microsoft Project

Desired Skills

• Experience in DoD contracting, especially manufacturing
• Understanding of DoD Aerospace Ground Support Equipment lifecycle management
• Knowledge of SBA 8(a) program
• ISO 9001-2015 Quality Management System experience
• Experience with Acumatica ERP System
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement
• Analytical skills for performance and utilization metrics
• Cross-functional collaboration and influence skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
