Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Sunnyvale, CA seeks a Director of Manufacturing Engineering to lead Industrial, Process, Test, Manufacturing and Software Engineering teams, delivering complex communications systems on schedule and within budget. The role requires a bachelor's in Engineering or Science with 15+ years of related experience (or 13+ with a master's) and at least 8 years of direct people leadership.

US citizenship and active Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

Minimum 8 years of progressive direct people leadership experience in manufacturing/production, operations, program management, testing, or related area.
Experience developing strategic roadmaps and investment priorities.
Experience with financial management including project & process control and budgets.
Experience with ISO9000/AS9100 or Six Sigma methodologies.

Responsibilities

Lead successful manufacturing and testing of complex Communications & Networking Systems within cost, schedule, and quality requirements.
Drive a continuous improvement culture with focus on high quality products at or below cost and within schedules.
Develop strategic investment roadmaps for Sunnyvale manufacturing and test strategies for the future.
Recruit and mentor future leaders; promote engagement and inclusion.
