Job summary

Ensono is seeking a Director, Mainframe Systems Programming, remote in the United States. The role leads teams managing mainframe environments (z/OS, CICS, DB2, IMS) to deliver client outcomes and drive strategic roadmaps.

Ideal candidates bring 12+ years of experience, strong leadership, and cross-functional collaboration. The position emphasizes communication, audit readiness, and business acumen in a client-facing, remote-friendly setting.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree. Relevant work experience will be considered in place of a bachelor’s degree.
• Able to manage up, down and across organizations, clients and/or functions.
• Experienced in diverse mainframe technical environments. Experienced in one or more mainframe infrastructure, hardware, system programming technologies and/or application development.
• Possess communication skills to appropriately lead at the client/team/Business unit levels.
• Experienced leading complex projects and programs.
• Microsoft Office skills including Microsoft Project
