Job summary

Flex is seeking a Director, Corporate Development (M&A) to lead strategic transactions for SpinCo, the planned spin-off of its Cloud and Power Infrastructure business. Based in Austin, TX, you will partner with senior leaders to evaluate acquisitions, divestitures, and partnerships that fuel inorganic growth.

You will oversee due diligence, valuation, structuring, and closing, and you will craft concise presentations for executive leadership.

Qualifications

MBA or equivalent in finance or accounting from a top-tier school.
10+ years in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or advisory.
Experience leading cross-functional due diligence and full-cycle M&A.
Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analysis skills.
Public company experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Identify, evaluate, and prioritize acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic investments to drive SpinCo growth.
Lead transaction evaluation including financial modeling, synergy identification, and risk analysis.
Manage end-to-end M&A processes: due diligence, negotiation, structuring, and closing.
Present investment recommendations to executive leadership and secure approvals.
Develop and refine corporate development processes and governance frameworks.
