Job summary

GlobalFoundries Inc. is seeking a Director of Finance and Accounting M&A Integration to manage post-acquisition accounting, technical accounting, and integration efforts. The role interfaces with business development, divisional finance, and external auditors to ensure U.S.

GAAP/IFRS compliance and SOX control adherence. Key responsibilities include leading valuation, purchase accounting, financial reporting, and the development of training on accounting standards for the global finance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and CPA license required.
• 10+ years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
• Experience with Big 4 public accounting or Fortune 500 companies in semiconductors preferred.
• Experience leading effective teams (2+ years).
• Substantial experience with U.S. GAAP and IFRS technical accounting research.

Responsibilities

• Communicate complex accounting results clearly to stakeholders and senior management.
• Lead M&A integration and purchase accounting activities, including due diligence and deal modeling.
• Coordinate with business development, divisional finance, and external auditors.
• Support quarterly SEC filings and maintain global accounting policies.
• Develop and lead periodic training on M&A accounting trends for global finance teams.
