Job summary

Per Scholas is seeking a Director, Development to lead local revenue growth across the NCR area and select markets. The role focuses on building pipelines, nurturing corporate and philanthropic partnerships, and pursuing government funding opportunities in collaboration with national teams and local leadership.

The ideal candidate brings a relationship-driven, entrepreneurial mindset, strong prospecting skills, and the ability to navigate cross-functional partnerships.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of fundraising, business development, corporate partnerships, or similar revenue-generating work.
• Proven ability to generate leads, build pipelines, cultivate relationships, and convert prospects to revenue.
• Experience securing or supporting government funding proposals, grants, or public-sector partnerships preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generate local leads and build a development pipeline in the NCR area and other markets.
• Steward and grow a portfolio of local partners.
• Identify and advance government funding opportunities.
• Collaborate with national channel teams on multi-market opportunities.
