Horace Mann is seeking a Director, Life & Retirement Analytical Engineering to lead the evolution of analytic capabilities and enable trusted data for strategic decisions. You will own strategy, delivery, and continuous improvement of data products, data models, and governed metrics across Life & Retirement.

You will build and guide a team, set engineering standards, and partner with Analytics, Enterprise Data, Architecture, Security, and Technology to ensure scalable, secure data solutions that

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or BI.
• 3+ years leading technical teams and delivering portfolios.
• Experience building reusable data products and scalable cloud solutions.
• Strong data governance, quality, security, and enterprise architecture knowledge.
• Ability to translate business priorities into technical roadmaps.
