Job summary

The Standard seeks a talented, experienced actuary with strong life pricing experience to join our voluntary benefits division. You will lead a high-performing team of actuaries and students.

You’ll partner with key internal stakeholders and product line leaders to ensure profitability of voluntary life products and serve as the illustration actuary with annual reporting responsibilities. The missing piece is you, bringing your vision, expertise, and energy to drive pricing strategy and product

Qualifications

• Experience with GGY AXIS preferred.
• Group or Individual Life pricing experience strongly preferred.
• Pricing design and strategy with actuarial business perspective.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise a team of actuaries and students.
• Lead pricing for voluntary life products and profitability analysis.
• Develop models for profitability, growth, risk, and expense trends.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing and product teams on financial soundness of new products.
• Influence management decision making through data-driven insights.
