Job summary

Lincoln Financial Group is seeking a Director, Actuarial, Life Experience Management to support experience studies, data processing, assumption development, and reporting for pricing, valuation, and risk management.

You will lead mortality assumption development, collaborate with IT and other teams, and improve data processes while delivering insights for quarterly earnings and pricing decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 5–7 years actuarial experience with credentials (FSA or ASA).
• 1–2 years experience with assumption development or life pricing/product development.
• Strong analytical and data synthesis capabilities.
• Ability to work with large data sets and identify anomalies.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python or similar languages.
• Ability to drive process improvements and innovative thinking.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).

Responsibilities

• Lead development of mortality assumptions for inforce/pricing and earnings.
• Support Life Experience Studies data needs with IT, Valuation and other teams.
• Enhance controls for data flows and processes.
• Share knowledge and develop best practices across teams.
• Document methodologies and automate recurring processes.
• Collaborate with business partners to ensure data integrity.
