The Director is responsible for supporting the Corporation’s operations by overseeing, managing, and obtaining all required licensing and regulatory approvals. The Director manages and oversees the entire life cycle of the licensing function, including the preparation and submission of applications, communications with licensing officials, securing formal licensing, monitoring existing licensure, applying for renewals and modifications, and termination or transition of licensure. The Director collaborates with other business teams and individuals to determine any licensing needs and gather information required for such licensing applications, and advises and strategizes as to the impact licensing may have on operational needs (timing, conditions, requirements, etc.). The Director may oversee and manage licensing completed by certain business teams with demonstrated competence, wishing to retain some control of certain aspects of their respective licensing functions.
