Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking a Director to own the strategy and execution for the Legal Department’s knowledge-management, process improvement, AI enablement, and measurement portfolio.

You will lead business requirements, implementation readiness, adoption, and value realization of legal technology priorities. Hybrid work from NY or Universal City; develop the team and partner with Legal, IT, and NBCU operations to deliver measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in legal operations or related field with portfolio ownership.
• Experience implementing or scaling technology across a large organization.
• Experience in corporate legal departments, law firms, or comparable environments.

Responsibilities

• Establish and oversee the Legal Department's knowledge-management operating model.
• Lead sessions to map how work gets done and maintain a backlog of improvements.
• Develop playbooks, policies, and self-service toolkits for legal intake and standard workflows.
• Establish document-management filing standards and governance.
• Map and govern end-to-end data flows across legal processes and systems.
• Develop and approve the AI enablement strategy and pilot plans.
• Establish the pillar's measurement and insights framework and KPIs.
• Partner with Legal practice groups, Legal Systems, Data & Legal Solutions, NBCU-OT on design and integrations.
• Lead, coach, and develop direct report(s).
