Job summary

Dolby’s Legal Operations Director leads a global, data-driven, technology-enabled organization to transform legal service delivery. You will drive strategy, governance, and technology roadmaps across Legal, IT, Security, and Finance; scaling AI adoption and responsible governance to boost productivity and reduce risk.

The role requires strategic planning, change leadership, and demonstrated success implementing enterprise-scale legal tech, including CLM, e-billing, and knowledge management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Information Systems, Legal Studies, or related field required.
• Proven experience in Legal Operations, Legal Technology, or related functions.
• 5+ years of people leadership in a global organization.
• Experience implementing and scaling legal technology platforms (CLM, e-billing, matter management, IP systems).
• Experience evaluating and driving adoption of AI-enabled solutions in legal/compliance functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing legal operations team.
• Partner with Legal leadership to define and execute the department's strategic roadmap.
• Develop and govern AI-enabled legal technologies and workflows.
• Oversee budget, vendor management, and outside counsel programs.
• Establish governance and risk frameworks for AI-enabled legal tech.
